Essential oils

One of the things I love the most is using Essential oils.  I have been using them for about twenty years.  I started out experimenting with oils in the 1990's  when oils were not very prevelent.  The oil I used first was Lavender,  I liked it so much I used it for everything.   I had the saying "If you don't know what to use, use Lavender".
Then I got brave and bought a few more.  I have had an exciting adventure learning more about them and how to use them.

I'm not sponsoring any company,  I feel like there are several good brands.  Do your own research and find what you like the best.
I would like to share a recipe for a oil blend to relieve Stress.

Stress Relief

4 drops Lavender
4 drops Clary Sage
4 drops Vetiver
4 drops Citrus
2 drops Geranium
Put in roller bottle, fill with coconut oil, shake to mix well. Enjoy.

I hope this works for you,  I will be adding new oil blends alone with recipes for different items in future posts.

Little girl Hairstyle tutorial #7 Knot hair do

This is one of my favorite hair styles I have done on C so far.  I just love all the different textures, with the braids,  and the knots, and the poofy ponytail in the back.  Don't worry I know it looks complicated, but if you follow the steps you will see it is really easy!
Part the hair across the front of the head, like in the picture to the left. Then dutch braid, the hair down to the ear.
then make a part from the tip of the left ear to the tip of the right ear  and make 5 pony tails with the remaining hair on top of head up to the part you just made. Tuck the tail of the dutch braid into your first pony tail.
Tie each ponytail into a knot. Demonstrated in the picture on the left. Once all the ponytails have been tied into knots. take the tails, and pull them into a single ponytail at the back of the head.

Backcomb the ponytail Place bobby pins underneath the  ponytail to make it stand up a little.

Roll the remaining hair up to meet the ponytail and secure with bobby pins. ( …

Step 3  Loop the end ofthe braid and secure it with the elastic that is holding the ponytail in place.  Repeat this with 5 of the braids, spacing them around the ponytail to form petals.

hairstyle #9 braid buns

Whooa (Big sigh of relief), I am so glad that November is here.  Don't get me wrong I love October  especially Halloween, but now that I am a grown up person Halloween isn't quite as fun as when I was a kid. Or maybe it is still as fun, but now I have to do all the work to prepare for  it. I love this time of year (really who doesn't?) I love the Beautiful autumn colors, and the slight nippy feeling outside. I love sitting by a cozy fire,  and taking really warm baths while the air around me has a slight chill.  Most of all I love Thanksgiving, and being around people I love. Well enough of my sentiments, and on to this really cute and simple hairstyle. This style is cute on everyone, and it is very quick. Which is always a plus when your rushing to get a little one ready for school. First you create two pigtails.
Braid each pigtail

Wrap the braid around the base of the pigtail and secure the tail into the elastic holding the pigtail.

Backcomb the remaining directing the  …
